Anya Phillips Thomas

Executive Director

Rev. Anya Phillips Thomas is a minister and coach for people and organizations seeking to work through spiritual trauma, loneliness, and loss.  Rev. Thomas has spent her life researching how environments and experiences help people recover from trauma and loss. Her core belief is that the right environment can help individuals live more fulfilling lives and help organizations achieve their purpose.

Anya has a Masters in Divinity and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management, from Boston University.

Anya is also a wife, a mother of two, three if you count the dog, a chef, and a novice gardener. She is an avid collector of grandmothers, despite having three of her own, the more cantankerous and feisty the better.

Linda Thomas

Linda’s true heart and mission in life is helping others.  She has demonstrated this passion by being a foster parent for many years, volunteering at foster and group homes, and as a founding member of a church plant.  She continues to demonstrate this passion by working in ministry, supporting missionaries, and volunteering in her community as a Board Member.

In addition to a heart for helping others, Linda also has remarkable credentials including a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, A Master’s Degree in Organizational Management, and thirty years of Human Resource experience.

 Linda makes her home in metro Atlanta, where she lives with her husband.  They have two children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  Times of fellowship with family and friends are dear to Linda’s heart, and she is grateful to God for the opportunity to work with Ancore Foundation and its mission of helping others.
